Pythia has no accounts and keeps no record of what you ask.
Your API key. When you pair, your phone encrypts the key to your Apple TV before sending it. This pairing service only ever handles ciphertext, holds it for at most ten minutes, and deletes it as soon as your TV collects it. The key is stored in your Apple TV's Keychain.
Your questions. Speech is turned into text by Apple's dictation on your Apple TV. Pythia sends that text directly from your Apple TV to Anthropic's API using your own key. Nothing passes through our servers. Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by their commercial terms and privacy policy.
Spoken replies are generated on the device by Apple's speech synthesizer. If you add your own ElevenLabs key, the text of each answer is sent directly from your Apple TV to ElevenLabs to be turned into speech, under ElevenLabs' terms, and billed to your ElevenLabs account. That key is handled exactly like your Anthropic key.
